Stratos Owners Tournament

Recently I had the pleasure of fishing with a friend and a long time B.A.S.S. Pro, Chet Douthit.  Chet is well known on the B.A.S.S. circuit as a 9 time Bassmaster Classic qualifier.

Chet and I teamed up to fish the annual Stratos Owners Tournament on Lake Kissimmee.  Accent Marine holds this tournament every year and it is hosted by the folks at Camp Mack Resort.  As always at Camp Mack, it was a great weekend of friends and fellowship.

Together, Chet and I put together a 15 + lb sack on day one and followed up with a 18 lb sack on day two.  This earned us a 5th place finish.  It was awesome seeing first hand why Chet is such an accomplished tournament angler.

I was proud to represent Roland Martin Marine Center, Stratos Boats, Evinrude, Deep South Rods, as well as all of my other sponsors at this event.

I am already looking forward to next years tournament.  Ted and Maxine of Accent Marine put on an outstanding tournament and it only continues to get better every year.

Tom Teams up with Power Pole

Just this week, I had the pleasure of speaking with Drew from Power Pole and was excited to hear I would become part of the Power Pole team.
I will help represent their shallow water anchoring system for the fresh water side of the fishing industry.

Fishing requires the ability to stop your boat and work an area quickly and quietly as you spot or find your fish. With Power-Pole you can stop your boat quickly and quietly with the touch of a button and keep your boat securely in place, even in heavy wind and current. Power-Pole is also eco-friendly and causes no damage to the environment.

I will also help promote their new product which is eco friendly.  Green Marine Hydralic fluid causes no danger to us and is biodegradeble.  Do your part, go green, Go Green Marine.
