Tom, I met you last weekend at BPS in Orlando. You helped me with my hook setting technique. I mentioned that I was fishing on my canal and had lost a big bass twice. I tried the new lure you suggested I buy (the Chatterfrog) and on my second cast of the day, I hooked the elusive bass again. But this time, thanks to your advice, I landed the fish. I had a scale, but no tape measure. The fish weighed in at 8 lb 2 oz. I took a picture of it lying on the ground next to my boot. My boot measured exactly 12 inches, so I figure the fish was around 26 inches or so. After I took a few pictures, which is very difficult to hold a fish and take the picture, I released him so he could grow up some more. Anyways, thanks again for the advice and lure, it helped me land the biggest bass of my life.

Great job this weekend. Was glad to be with you and the other 63 boats, even though I did not fish very well. Still healing from my heart attack, but I am getting stronger. Hope to win one someday lol Can't wait for the next one!!
