Tom,
I met you last weekend at BPS in Orlando. You helped me with my hook setting technique. I mentioned that I was fishing on my canal and had lost a big bass twice. I tried the new lure you suggested I buy (the Chatterfrog) and on my second cast of the day, I hooked the elusive bass again. But this time, thanks to your advice, I landed the fish. I had a scale, but no tape measure. The fish weighed in at 8 lb 2 oz. I took a picture of it lying on the ground next to my boot. My boot measured exactly 12 inches, so I figure the fish was around 26 inches or so. After I took a few pictures, which is very difficult to hold a fish and take the picture, I released him so he could grow up some more.
Anyways, thanks again for the advice and lure, it helped me land the biggest bass of my life.
