2009 Tournament Schedules
As we all know, most Florida tournament trails have released their schedule for the 2009 season. There are so many to choose from, but not enough time or money to fish them all.
If you have not heard or experienced the tournaments by Xtreme Bass Series, you are missing out. Xtreme runs the One Man Series with a guaranteed $5,000 per tournament with the Angler of the Year winning a Power Pole system. Once a month, you can find Xtreme's tournaments on such lakes as Toho, Istokpoga and Harris Chain of Lakes. Winners are polygraphed to keep the field honest. Last year this trail averaged 67 boats per tournament. This year, the participation is expected to be much higher as others are making the change.
They also offer the team angler several opportunities to fish different lakes throughout the state with great pay backs and an awesome Championship. The 2008 Championships were awarded a Ranger 198vx with a 200-hp Evinrude E-Tec. The boat/motor/trailer package is valued at $40,000.

I would recommend you check out Xtreme if you haven't already. Any questions, Mike Blocher and Scott Scarboro will more than happy to answer any questions, you can find their contact info here.
Hope to see you on the water!!

Sweet!!!!!!!
If you haven't had the chance to check out the new 2009 Stratos 201 Evolution, you need to. I thought it would be hard to beat the performance of the regular 201, but Stratos has really outdone themselves.
Starting with performance, they have kept up the speeds with this 21 ft boat. This sleek design runs in the low 80's without giving up an ounce of handling. The new layout of the deck has made tackle organization simple and very functionable. One thing that grabbed me the first night I had my 201 Evolution was when I arrived home at about 9 p.m. and turned on all the compartment lights. I was simply blown away with how the lights completely lite up every compartment along with the battery compartment. I can't go without talking about the new blue tinted livewells and ultraviolet lights that send off a glow that can be seen from far away. Again, I'm just blown away.
This boat without a doubt is their finest one yet. I want to thank Roland Martin Marine Center for providing me with this awesome rig and it is my pleasure to show it off. For pictures and more information click here
